Archie and Brandie’s outdoor ceremony was held at the Evergreen Lake House, http://www.evergreenrecreation.com/, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. It was a gorgeous celebration surrounded by rustic elegance. The outdoor cocktail hour was followed by a perfect rain shower once guests were inside continuing the celebration. We could not help but think that luck was already shinning down on this tremendous couple. The bride looked beautiful and the groom dapper as they celebrated the day they had been waiting for. Each guests received their own personal cake, http://www.cakesbykristie.com/, decorated with butterflies and gerber daisies that were both delicious and added to the aesthetic of the event. The mountain and lake views from the buffet table were made only more impressive by the amazing smells from A Perfect Bite Catering, http://aperfectbitecatering.com/. Guests took full advantage of the ShutterBooth props and couldn’t stop raving about the booth. What a way to spend Labor Day weekend…two people celebrating their love and commitment to one another and ShutterBooth there to help capture the unforgettable moments.

Rocky Mountain Bridal Show

Brides, grooms, bridesmaids, mothers, father and lots of ShutterBooth Shots…that is how we spent the day at the Rocky Mountain Bridal Show. As a former bride myself, I can attest to the fact that although Bridal shows are a blast they can also be stressful. Each time we are given the opportunity to meet brides we try our best to invite them to have the ShutterBooth experience. The great thing about our booth is that it truly sells itself. It amazes me that every single time people enter ShutterBooth we hear giggles floating out from behind the black curtains and the group emerges with huge grins across their faces. I even asked one bride if she was alright as she exited the booth with tears in her eyes. She and her bridesmaids were laughing so hard she could hardly get herself together! The comments we heard from brides today were “This is a must at my wedding”, “I will make this happen” and “Are you kidding me…this is a fantastic”. Almost everyone who came through ShutterBooth took advantage of our props and were grateful to have photos to remember this day by. Even at the Bridal Show, ShutterBooth had the brides and different groups of people talking to one another…just imagine the impact it has at a wedding! We were set up next to Sweet Life Nail Bar Lounge, http://www.sweetlifenailbar.com/. Sweet Life is a wonderful way to prepare for your big day with girlfriends and at great prices. We had a great day at the Rocky Mountain Bridal show because Shutterbooth was all about outrageous poses, creative props and memorable photos.

Brides Against Breast Cancer & The Colorado Bridal Show

This weekend was all about meeting brides and getting people to see what all the ShutterBooth fuss is about. We did just that at Brides Against Breast Cancer on Saturday and the Colorado Bridal Show on Sunday. Brides Against Breast Cancer is an amazing organization that allows brides to find the dress of their dreams while making wishes come true for breast cancer patients. It was a thrill to be part of such a wonderful cause and to see bride’s faces after they found the perfect dress. Each bride carrying the sought after garment bag came back down to the reception area with a true glow. Each talking about “just knowing it’s the one”. As a girl…and a woman who found the perfect dress…I can absolutely say that it is a truly incredible feeling when you put on THE DRESS and you just know that you are done searching. You’re done searching for not only the dress that makes you feel like a true bride, but also the man who makes you want to be his wife. Sunday was all about the Grand Hyatt Hotel in beautiful downtown Denver and giving brides the opportunity to pose for photos with our bridal props at the Colorado Bridal Show. It was a great ShutterBooth weekend as we prepare to finish out 2009 and hit 2010!

The Knot Industry Networking Event

As the preferred photo booth vendor for The Knot, www.theknot.com, we were lucky enough to set up ShutterBooth at a local, industry networking party last week. The highly entertaining evening was held at Theorie Night Club, which you may remember as The Real World Denver house…and what a house it was! Theorie is a beautiful space with exposed brick walls, an impressive patio and booths sectioned off with gorgeous fabric. Nicole from RSVP Shindig, http://www.rsvpshindig.com/, did an amazing job of transforming the space into an elegant affair. The impressive hors d’oeuvres were brought to us by Whirled Peas Catering…what a great name…, www.whirledpeascatering.com, featuring mini buffalo sliders, homemade gelato and chocolate covered blueberries. Between the delicious food, mojitos and interacting with other wedding professionals it was a great night to be associated with The Knot!

Todd & Amanda August 8th,2009

Todd and Amanda held their wedding on a gorgeous August day at her father’s ranch. The guests were thrilled to celebrate this joyous occasion and it was clear that everyone had a fantastic time. The outdoor ceremony was followed by dinner and dancing under an elegant tent. We opened ShutterBooth after dinner and never hit a lull as guests piled in and took remarkably creative pictures. The event was decorated with their two colors…watermelon and pool…so fun for an August celebration! The bridal party toasted with PBR rather than champagne as a tribute to Amanda’s love for beer. The most hilarious part of the evening came when the DJ called all couples to the dance floor and had them arrange a boy-girl circle. The girls were then directed to roll up the pants of the man to their right, as well as push down their socks, resulting in a ridiculously hilarious spectacle. What capped it off from there was the “calf dance” as each man showed off his moves. ShutterBooth was all about feeling silly, summer and sunshine.

Jake’s Beach Bash Bar Mitzvah

Jake had a Bar Mitzvah to truly remember! ShutterBooth was proud to be a part of this exciting evening held at Green Gables Country Club with breath taking views of the lake and pool. The theme of the evening was a beach bash and everyone was decked out in their best Hawaiian gear. The flower centerpieces were creatively displayed in sand buckets and the family had guests sign a surf board for Jake to take with him as a memento. Guests were given goodie beach bags with sunglasses, tee shirts and leis. Mike and his crew from Dance Trax Entertainment, http://www.dancetraxentertainment.com/, did a fantastic job of keeping the guests entertained and involving everyone in games like name that tune. The great part was they were not just naming the tune they also had to either sing the tune or dance to it. Guests of all ages used the ShutterBooth props to bring the pictures to life. Leis, Hawaiian hats, giant sunglasses, and even an orange fish hat were available for their choosing. Jake’s Bar Mitzvah was filled with surf, sand and ShutterBooth.

Jane & Gary July 18th, 2009

Jane and Gary’s wedding was truly an evening to remember. This magical night was held at 10,200 feet at the Spruce Saddle Lodge on Bear Creek. The bride and groom arrived on the Centennial Express ski lift as did each of the 150 guests. The ceremony was held outside on this breathtaking day and overlooked Gore Range and Eagle River Valley. Gary and Jane incorporated a touching component to their ceremony by passing their rings through the crowd. As each friend and family member held the rings they made eye contact with the bride and groom and sent a silent message of approval and love. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and ShutterBooth had a line from the very beginning. During dinner, of halibut and tenderloin, a special guest arrived in the form of a bear outside of the lodge! The videographer caught all of the action as the bear helped himself to the flowers from the ceremony. We encouraged guests to kiss during the third photo in the booth and the scrapbook reflected all of the fun that they had. Jane and Gary created a true celebration to remember and guests commented about it being the most amazing wedding they had ever attended.

Rocky Mountain Youth Gathering

ShutterBooth was ecstatic to be a part of the “Rooted” Gathering at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Denver. Two hundred and fifty high school students from Colorado and surrounding states attended this educational and very entertaining three day event. ShutterBooth was set up among foosball tables, Wii and a jousting arena. Students flowed through the booth all night and utilized all of the props. The creativity flowed as multiple groups kept coming back to perfect their poses. Teens checked out their skills on “RockBand” and filled the Centennial ballroom with the sweet sounds of songs like ”Eye of the Tiger”. This time ShutterBooth was all about Rockin’ out, rallying friends and having a rip-roaring good time!
